Secretary of State Investigating Case of 100 Election Ballots Delivered Too Late
Steve Ungar, counsel for Our Oregon, and the organization's executive director were asked by state regulators to explain why nearly 100 ballots collected through a legal get-out-the-vote canvassing effort were not delivered until the day after the November 6, 2018 election deadline. The Oregon Secretary of State's Elections Division opened an investigation after receiving a formal complaint from Multnomah County election officials.
